Turn off the circuit breaker and unscrew existing outdoor lights. Identify the type of light and take necessary tools to install the photocell device. Cut the cable's insulation and separate the wires. Strip the insulation from the wire ends and connect them to the junction box or conduit. Securely mount the device and check for proper connection before fastening the fixture. When done, cover the light and mount it.
